Bird hanged himself mourning a severed plane tree

Over the past few years, hundreds of trees have been felled across Uzbekistan, including ancient plane trees, that, for decades, had provided much needed shade during the hot summer days.

Recently, a video circulated the social media showing a local khokimiyat worker who accidently crushed a passing cyclist to death when felling a plane tree. The accident occurred in the Uychi district of Namangan region.
