Imams Endorse Mirziyoyev’s Initiative to Show Films in Mosques

Eltuz sources have confirmed that imams have shown support for President Mirziyoyev’s initiative to show educational and cultural films in mosques.

At a meeting with film-makers on December 29, 2018, the president said “It can be done in mosques as well. Thank you for coming here. Can we say that we have a new film?”

Speaking about the lack of films about prominent cultural and historical figures such as Babur, Ulugbek, Biruni, and Al-Bukhari, the president said that such films could play an excellent role as an educational tool.
